Communications Regulation (American Casebook Series)
|
This survey of the law of regulated electronic communications covers mass media (broadcasting, cable, and satellite), telecommunications media (wireline and wireless), and the Internet. A major theme is the historical duality of communications regulation by the Federal Communications Commission and the pending convergence of these two regulatory worlds in the form of the Internet. Although some parts of the field are considered to be highly technical, the authors have provided detailed notes and background sufficient to make all parts of the field accessible to the generalist.
